Night departure from Chennai/Bangalore. Arrive Coonoor/Ooty early morning. Morning: Check-in Ooty. Breakfast. Forenoon: Coonoor — Sim's Park botanical gardens, Dolphin's Nose viewpoint, tea estate visit and tasting. Toy train from Coonoor to Ooty (UNESCO World Heritage rack railway — if available). Afternoon: Ooty Market, Rose Garden. Evening: Ooty Lake. Dinner. Overnight Ooty.
Ooty Sightseeing
Morning: Breakfast. Doddabetta Peak (2637m — highest point in Nilgiris). Telescope house at summit. Panoramic views of Tamil Nadu plains. Forenoon: Ooty Botanical Garden — 22 acres, established 1848. 20-million-year fossil tree trunk. Afternoon: Avalanche Lake (30 km from Ooty) — serene high-altitude lake inside Mukurthi National Park. Fishing trout permitted (with permit). Pykara Lake and Pykara Falls. Evening: Nilgiri tribal market. Dinner. Overnight Ooty.
Ooty to Kodaikanal Transfer & Lake
Morning: Breakfast. Check-out. Drive from Ooty to Kodaikanal (4-5 hrs through Palani Hills). En route stop at Palani Murugan Temple for darshan (optional). Arrive Kodaikanal afternoon. Check-in. Afternoon: Kodaikanal Lake — cycle or boat the star-shaped lake. Coaker's Walk — cliff-edge 1 km walk with valley views. Bryant Park. Evening: Kodai market — homemade chocolates, eucalyptus, herbs. Dinner. Overnight Kodaikanal.
Pillar Rocks, Berijam & Return
Morning: Breakfast. Pillar Rocks — three 122m granite pillars. Green Valley View (dramatic cliff viewpoint). Pine Forest photography. Berijam Lake — pristine forest reservoir, permit required, spot wildlife. Silver Cascade Falls en route out. Afternoon: Check-out. Begin return journey. Arrive home city by late night.
